I originally got the Red Palm and Coconut to heal a spot on my Goffin that he was chewing on. He wouldn't allow us to put on an ointment from the vet to heal it nor could I give him Vit A drops. So I melt a bit of the oils together in a bit of hot water and add to his morning birdy bread along with some of the hemp seeds. He healed quickly. He won't eat it if the red palm is not on it. His feathers are very healthy looking.
The vet recommended red palm oil for my 30-year-old African Grey to help his joints. He takes a small amount readily from a spoon as a treat and is a good daily supplement.
Waiting to see if it helps my babies- Macaws. The female is a plucker rescue and the male has started or sheâs doing it. I hoping this helps.

My lovebird was a millet addict and I replaced millet completely by offering him a few of these hemp seeds each day with his pellets. A much healthier choice and he loves them.
