Simple, Flexible Use for Everyday Bird Care
Aloe Vera Bird Spray is easy to work into your normal bird-care routine. Some bird owners use it a few times a week for ongoing skin and feather moisture, while others use it more often when their bird seems itchy, uncomfortable, or is going through a difficult molt.
For Prevention & Routine Moisture
To help maintain skin and feather condition, lightly mist your bird a few times per week. This can be a simple way to support birds that live in dry indoor air or do not bathe often on their own.
If your bird is scratching more than usual, seems uncomfortable during molting, or has dry skin, use the spray 2–3 times per day. Mist thoroughly enough for the aloe vera solution to reach the skin beneath the feathers. Many parrots have water-resistant feather surfaces that cause moisture to bead up and roll off, so a quick surface mist may not be enough. Gently lift the feathers as needed to help the spray reach the skin, without saturating your bird unnecessarily.
If Your Bird Doesn't Like Being Sprayed
Many birds need a little time to get used to misting. Keep the experience calm and pleasant, and use positive reinforcement whenever possible. If your bird is nervous about spray bottles, learn how to make spraying and bath time a more positive experience.
How to Store It
Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place. Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of direct sunlight. As with any bird-care product, keep it out of reach of children and pets when not in use.
A quick tip: A light mist is usually all you need. The goal is to keep your bird comfortable and support healthy skin and feathers without turning spray time into a struggle.
