Sizing Information:

Birds can vary in size—even within the same species—so we recommend choosing your collar size based on your bird’s weight in grams for the most accurate fit. A list of common species and typical sizes is provided below as a general guide.

Please note: The Fringy Cone is not available in XSmall. Very small birds (such as green cheek conures, lovebirds, and similar species) typically require an XSmall collar, which is not offered in this style due to the complexity of the fringed construction at that size.

Trim to fit: Our bird collars feature two seams around the neck hole and two around the perimeter to allow you to customize the fit for our bird. You should be able to get a small finger around the neck to allow for crop expansion during feeding and the collar should hang at about the hip area so that your bird can climb and feed.

As A General Rule Choose Collar Size by Your Bird's Weight In Grams

S  (6" Dia.) - 150 - 299 gm.
M (8" Dia.)- 300 - 499 gm.
L  (10" Dia.) - 500 - 700 gm.
XLG (12" Dia.) - 700 - 1000 gm.

Fringy Cone sizing note: This collar style is not available in XSmall. Very small birds such as green cheek conures, lovebirds, parrotlets, and similar-sized birds typically need an XSmall collar, which is not offered in this style because the fringy construction is too difficult to sew at that tiny scale.
