Compare Bird Collars

All bird collars will require training your bird to wear the collar, otherwise your bird will destroy the collar quickly.   Your bird may have become accustomed to chewing it's feathers as a way to calm anxieties.  The bird collar doesn't change parrot anxiety, but it does provide a temporary barrier between the beak and feathers. We strongly recommend combining behavior modification training to help your bird learn to not pick or to do other activities to gain your attention.  Our fleece and leather collars are meant to provide a preening diversion for your bird and therefore, you can expect that your bird will chew the collar.

You may need to assist bird with eating until it becomes accustomed to collar.  UnRuffledRx products are stitched together so that they can be trimmed to fit.  Tube collars have stitching that allows you to shorten the length of the collar while soft bird collars have stitching guidelines that allow you to trim the perimeter and notch the neck to make it bigger.
