Aloe contains fatty acids that have anti-inflammatory properties, as well as the wound healing hormones, Auxins, and Gibberellins. The Aloe vera plant produces at least six antiseptic agents: lupeol, salicylic acid, urea nitrogen, cinnamonic acid, phenols, and sulfur.
