Avian professionals have LONG found Aloe Vera Parrot Spray to be extremely beneficial for feather picking parrots. The antiseptic and analgesic properties greatly aid in supporting feather chewing, feather picking, and self-mutilation behaviors. Parrot Aloe Vera Spray is a natural solution that soothes dry, itchy, irritated skin which often induces a bird to pick and over-preen.
Aloe contains fatty acids that have anti-inflammatory properties, as well as the wound healing hormones, Auxins and Gibberellins. Aloe vera also has antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties that are effective defenses against a broad range of microbes. The Aloe vera plant produces at least six antiseptic agents: lupeol, salicylic acid, urea nitrogen, cinnamonic acid, phenols, and sulphur.
Use UnRuffledRx Aloe Vera Spray for Birds daily to clean feathers and moisturize and soothe minor skin irritations. In the dry winter months when most parrots experience itchy skin, you may wish to use it more. For broken skin or oozing abrasions, please use Medihoney or Vet Aid Spray and always consult your avian veterinarian.
Always check with your avian veterinarian for guidance regarding frequency of use before incorporating Aloe Vera into your parrots feather and wound care routine. Individual results may vary. Feather picking spray is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

My African Grey Parrot skin was to dry and when I saw this product I bought it right away. I have noticed that she is not scratching as much I think it’s doing the job she love to be sprayed with cold water so I put it spray in the frig. I do recommend this product.
great for a freshen up moment
The spray is working perfectly I noticed after a couple of days LiLGreys skin was alot better. I opened his wings and sprayed inside of his wings. Before I sprayed him I put it in the refrigerator he loves being sprayed when it is nice and cold. Thank you
Our bird seems a little more calmer since using this product before she would just pick at her feathers too much.
