Thermo Perch Heated Bird Perch

  • Overview

    • The Thermo Perch Heated Bird Perch maintains a temperature of 102°-107° for optimal bird comfort
    • A must-have for feather pluckers who are susceptible to chilling from sparse feathers
    • Warms your bird at its feet where most body heat escapes
    • Perfect for energy-conscious bird owners who lower the thermostat at night
    • An important part of your bird first aid kit

Your parrot will appreciate radiating warmth from the feet up during chilly winter months, when the air conditioner is running, or when it feels ill.

This heated bird perch is thermostatically controlled for safe, low-voltage warmth that maintains a "parrot perfect" range of 102° -107° F.

The Thermo Perch Bird Perch can be left on continuously so that your bird can hop onto it whenever it needs to warm up. The textured surface is easy to grip and the variable diameter is easy on the feet.

  • More Info

The Thermo Perch is made of sturdy, scratch and bite resistant polymer. It easily attaches to birdcage bars. The irregular perch shape resembles a tree branch to prevent foot cramping and pressure sores. The cord is fortified with steel wire, providing a safety measure for birds that like to chew wires.

Please note that the Thermo-Perch runs large. It requires an adapter for use outside of the U.S.

How to Clean a Thermo Perch:

Wipe clean with a damp cloth or paper towel.  DO NOT immerse in water. If disinfecting is required,  mist perch portion with a bird-safe solution and wipe clean.  Re-wipe with a damp, clean cloth to remove disinfectant. Keep the spray away from the area where the cord enters the perch.

MET Safety Laboratories suggests unplugging the perch if you leave your home on an extended vacation, as they do with any electrical appliance. Otherwise, it is designed for 24/7 operation and you can leave it plugged in all day.

ALWAYS keep the electric cord out of your birds reach.
